Dear Members,

Despite heavy rains and typhoons, the Club is pleased to announce that the physical construction work for the Diamond course

renovation is complete! With the hopes of good weather, we target to have the Diamond course reopened within 6-8 weeks. For

more details on the renovation project, please see page 2.

On September 1st the Club launched the messaging app NotifyMe. With NotifyMe, Members can select any language they wish

and the system will automatically translate all incoming messages. The Club will use the app to send you the most up-to-date

information such as course closure, urgent transportation issues, and sales promotions. As a special sign up promotion, all

Members who sign up for NotifyMe between now and October 31st will go into a lucky draw for some great prizes! For more

information on how to sign up, please see page 12.

The 36th Anniversary Celebration and Annual Prize Presentation Dinner is scheduled for Saturday, December 14th. This year the

Club will be adding some bene ts to our more senior Members. Members aged 80 and above will receive an automatic invitation

to the event, and Members aged 75 and above who sign up will have their names entered twice into the ballot. The signup sheet

will be posted on October 12th, and the ballot will be held on November 9th. The lucky Members who are drawn will be noti ed

via email by November 13th.

As we go into the Club’s major tournament season, we would like to congratulate Mr. VikramMalhotra for successfully defending

both his titles with winning the 2019 Bertie To Memorial Trophy and the 2019 Match Play Championship. We would also like to

congratulate Mrs. Kung Winchester on winning the Ladies Match Play Championship 4 years in a row (2016, 2017, 2018, & 2019)!

On August 26th, the Club hosted 30 kids fromThe Hub Hong Kong for a fun morning of golf instruction and lunch. The Hub Hong

Kong is a non-pro t youth center in Sham Shui Po that provides a safe place for underprivileged youth to learn, play and grow. To

The Club would also like to thank Mark Mossip, Michael Long and Michael Cheung for donating their time to

introduce the wonderful game of golf to the lovely group of kids.
